Part of the International District for more than forty years, Kau Kau Restaurant transferred from its founders to longtime employee Hock Wo in 2024, who first worked as a dishwasher fifty years prior. The menu includes a variety of traditional Chinese dishes, but barbecue specialties like roasted duck and pork are what stand out, served in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.
