Distant Worlds Coffeehouse

Rebecca Servoss started Distant Worlds Coffeehouse in 2020 as a meeting place for, as she puts it, “geeks of all stripes.” In addition to serving up coffee and treats with a side of sass, Rebecca has created a comfortably nerdy spot for Roosevelt residents to gather for a game of Dungeons and Dragons, book club, or a discussion about the latest episode of Doctor Who. Where the menu is concerned, Distant Worlds offers coffeehouse staples, as well as vegan and vegetarian-friendly eats. Highlights include Rebecca’s house made vegan white chocolate sauce and the smoky vegan sandwich. Customers all recommend the Polgara mocha, a specialty drink that combines white chocolate and lavender.
